One on One plus 4

After dinner one night Althea realized that she couldn't remember the last time that she and Derick had some "alone" time with one another.

Serena and Celeste rarely went out anywhere, they simply stayed home night after night. Althea wouldn't have minded it the girls would atleast do more than think about doing dishes.

While the boys were younger Althea felt that they should get out a little more too. Jacey atleast used his time to work on his studies, Drake on the other hand simply napped all of the time.

Sensing Altheas distress, Derick tried to motivate his children to get out and experience the world a little. "Son we taught you to walk for a reason." "OOkay..so." Drake replied

"Drake, maybe you could take up fishing. Celeste likes fishing, you could fish together." Drake was less than amused by his parents excessive badgering.

Realizing that their words were lost on their youngest child, they tried to motivate their oldest. "Daddy we have P.E. in school, and you want me to work out even more?!"

Serena tried to explain to her father that she likes computers, more than breaking a sweat. But Derick was desperate to get his kids out of the house. "Computers won't help your heart once you get to my age!" he exclaimed.

Taking the hint all of the kids made an effort to escape their parents annoying suggestions. Drake thougt that he might try swimming instead of fishing. Fishing took too much patience and Drake didn't think he could handle all that waiting.

Serena also decided that she could get out to the pool for a day. She and her best friend Cassie decided to see if their were any cute guys, that they could flirt with.

Celeste decided to catch a movie instead, she wasn't interested in being splashed at by any of her siblings. She did meet a nice guy though. They only spoke briefly about the movie, but Celeste enjoyed it.

Jacey decided to try his hand at chess, he found himself to be quite good at it too.

Out of all the commotion at the house, everyone missed the arrival of the boy's birthday. Jacey was the first to grow up this time.

He grew up into quite the looker with charismatic locked in as his fourth trait. Hopefully it will balance out his grumpiness a little.

Back at home Drake was next to grow up, since everyone was still out and about he did it on his own.

Drake grew up with the inaproprate trait locked in, another first for the gaines family.

Derick and Althea were just finally glad to have a little time to spend with one another without the kids. They could only hope that now that the children had grown up their would be even more alone time.

*note* I was happy to finally have the boys grow up in to teenagers. Kids and babies in the sims sort of annoy me lol. Now that everyone is a little older and more independent, I can start working a plot into my posts now. So we'll see what happens next time ya?
