Way too soon!!

Athea knew that she had a lot to do today. Now that she was in the later stage of her life she had to make sure she tied up all loose ends and see to it that her children would be okay. She knew that soon it would be time to join her husband in the after life.

While she would have thought that she needed to take care of her sons first, her most immediate problem was her two eldest daugthers. She wanted her children to be there for each other, not act like hethans. "Drake I'm going to Celeste's new house today." she told him during breakfast.

"Man who new our sisters could be so trashy." Drake said. Althea learned a long time ago that the best thing for Drakes lude comments was just to ignore them.

While Althea was off trying to mend things between her daughters, Jacey thought that he may have found the future Mrs. Gaines.Their new maid Latarsha was everything he wanted in a woman.

"You know, I'm a real big fan of the color blue." he said trying impress her with his wit. "It's the color of coolness, and calmness."

"Well isn't that just the cutest thing. Well my favorite color is red the color of hotness, and passion." Jacey couldn't help but think that his attempt at trying to woo the maid was a failure.

Back at Celeste's house Althea had seen how hurt her daughter really was. "I really liked him mom." she wailed. Althea just didn't know what her other daughter was thinking. How could she be so selfish?

"There there dear don't you fret about this. Think of it as an oppurtunity to rejuvnate yourself and get a fresh start on things!!" Celeste seemed to brighten up a little about the idea. "But where do I start?"

"Oh honey you've already started! Look at this nice new home you've found yourself. This is the perfect start. Now you can focus on becoming the star your father always thought you would be." Celeste just smiled.

While Althea was trying to make her youngest daughter feel better, Jacey was on the other side of town trying to make a last ditch effort to woo Latarsha. He failed. Tremendously. "I'm sorry but I don't do tutoring sessions." "But my birthday is today!! I'll be a man" Drake exclaimed. "You are just so adorable." Latarsha replied.

With the drama going on between Serena and Celeste, both boy's birthdays past with absolutely no recognition (even from me). Drake not even phased by the lack of attention he was getting grew into the childish trait. He also has decided that he wants to become super popular. He also decided to run off and join the military.

Jacey on the other hand grew into the mean spirited trait. Now he wants to be the leader of the free world. Right after joining the politics career field he wasted absolutely no time trying out his political BS on Celeste to see if maybe she would forgive Serena. "Stop trying to use you're political BS on me, I wont forgive Serena. Happy Birthday by the way."

While Jacey was off eating lunch with his sister, Drake was trying to schmooze up Latarsha. "I just got back from the recruiter where they gave me a job!" he exclaimed. "Very impressive." Latarsha replied.

In fact Latarsha was so impressed by Drake that when he decided to kiss her within 10 minutes of knowing her, she didn't push him away at all. Drake thought that he just might be in love.

He asked her to go steady with him, but she refused. "I hardly know you." she said pulling away. "Thats okay I'll make you mine someday. You'll see!!"

Jacey couldn't help but be upset. He was in love with Latarsha first. He couldn't believe he got bested by his little brother. "Unbelievable!!" he said as he walked by in disgust.

Not to be outdone by Drake, Jacey decided to invite over Bella Bachelor. They worked together so he figured he could use a little boost in the career field.

Bella was quite taken by Jacey's charm, she gave him an excellent boost in confidence. But once he felt good enough he sent her on her way. He wasn't looking for a relationship just yet.

That same night Althea woke with a fright. She kept hearing an unfamiliar voice calling her name. Who could it be?

But before Althea could get up to look around the house she collapsed to the floor, and saw nothing but darkness.

It was death and he had come for her. "But it's too soon, please I beg you come back later!! There's still so much that I need to do." Althea pleaded with the grim reaper. "Sorry lady I save one, I gotta save em all. Then I'm out of a job. This is the only thing I know how to do right ya know."

So not wanting to be unprofessional and all Grim took Altheas soul. Jacey and Drake were both completely devastated.

Strucken with grief and not caring at all that Grim here is the bringer of all death. Drake took it upon himself to call The Grim Reapers mother a llama. "Ya and she's fat from eating grass all day!!" "I don't get paid enough for this." Grim said as he disappeared into thin air.

Shaken by the death of both their parents, Drake and Jacey both agreed that life was too short for feuding. They decided that unlike their sisters they would manage to live and thrive together without the drama. So with that thought in mind they decided to start a new begininng in a new house. Who knows what will happen next.

*note* soo this episode Althea met a very untimely death. She had a long time to go before it was time to meet Grim but I decided to speed a long the process a little. Also I decided to go ahead and get a new home because I was getting so bored with the other and it was too hard to get good angles. Anywhoo I hope you enjoyed and come back soon for some more splendid Gaines fun, ya?

Betrayals

So when we last left off, the girls grew up into fine young ladies, and moved out of the house to start their own lives.

The next morning Celeste wasted absoultely no time calling Marquis over to celebrate her adulthood.

And with a little bit of flirting in a blink of an eye Celeste and Marquis were in bed together.

On another note, Jacey had a hard time coping with his sisters being gone from the house and found himself at their house all of the time. Even though Althea was an amazing author Jacey wanted Serena helping him with his homework instead.

But even though he was at his sisters house, the law still stated that he was out past curfew and came immediately to escort him home.

Althea wasn't thrilled at all to see her eldest son coming home late at night. "You are setting a horrible example for your brother. " she screamed at him out in the lawn. (How embarrasing!)

The next morning after their woohoo Celeste decided that she would ask Marquis to go steady with her. He agreed to it even after admitting that he had commitment issues. They thought that their love would conquer all.

Unfrotunately that same day Derick passed on at the main house. The whole family was devastated. So Serena took time after work to go visit her mother and brothers and see if their was anything she could do for them.

The boys were taking the incident pretty well. The one who was taking it the worst was Althea, she was utterly hearbroken that she had lost the love of her life and father of her children.

Serena thought that she could help out by making dinner for everyone but they quickly hopped up and threatened to kick her out for being inappropriate. Serena laughed it off and continued to cook.

But true to their word they had kicked her out of the house. Serena couldn't believe it, how could they be so cruel when she was only trying to help them? She did used to live their after all.

Serena went home to her own empty house and began to read a book, it was the only thing that she could do to ease her hurt and pain. How could her family be so mean.

Marquis came over at that moment to visit Celeste only to find that she was at work. Serena didn't want to be a bother to him so she tried to hurry him off. Sensing her sadness Marquis offered to stay until she felt a little better and her sister got home.

Serena agreed and they went into the living room to talk. She had to admit that it was good to have someone over while she was grieving, and Marquis was so funny.

They had drinks and discussed the latest movies and books.

After a few drinks things began to progress a little further than what they had intended to. Serena sent Marquis home immediately afterwards, she had no idea what to do.

The next night Serena met with Marquis to talk about where they would go from now. She coldn't help but hink about how much sleep she lost the night before. After talking things through both Marquis and Serena agreed that they should not see each other anymore after this night.

The next morning Serena decided to have a bite to eat before leaving off to work. Celeste decided to join her big sister since they hadn't spent much time together as of late. "Hey where were you last night, I was hoping we could grab a bite but you wern't here." Celeste said as she bit into her toast. Serena practically chocked on her cereal.

Not wanting to outright lie to her sister Serena made some excuse and dashed off to work. What was she going to do.

After work Serena decided that she would try to become closer with her sister. They had never had a very sisterly bond to begin with so she thought it only right that they should start now that they live together. Plus she needed time to get over Marquis. So she called Celeset up and told her to meet her for dinner at the diner.

On her way out the door to meet her sister Serena ran into Marquis. Serena tried reminding him of the agreement that they had made just last night but Marquis refused to listen. "You know my traits better than she does. I naturally relate to you. I thought I loved her but now I know that it's you that I love. Let me come inside so that we can talk!" he exclaimed. Completely moved by his confession Serena agreed, "Just for a minute. I really need to be going. I'm already late."

A minute was all Marquis needed once he was in the house he made quick work of grabing Serena in his arms and making out with her. Unfortunately at that moment Celeste walked in to scene the whole seen go on. She was infuriated.

"How could you do this to me!" she screamed at him. "I'm sorry that I hurt you! But I am in love with your sister. " he said simply. Celeste was beyond infuriated.

Suddenly she turned on Serena "How could you do this to me your supposed to be my big sister." she screamed "Your nothing but a slut!" angry at her sister Serena screamed back. "Well you could stand to lose a few pounds you heffer."  Marquis just looked on in stunned silence.

After being called a heffer Celeste gave into the urge she had to fight her sister and attacked her. The fight whent on for what seemed like forever!

Proud that she had won the fight with her sister Celeste turned her attention back to Marquis she wasn't done with him yet.

"If you think that I would ever stay with you after this you're wrong! It is over between us you can have her you can have her you fat loser!"

Even though he was in love with Serena. Marquis was still hurt by Celeste's words, I mean who enjoys being called a fat loser. Celeste wasted no time moving out of the house.

But Serena and Marquis were completely unphased by her leave of abscence. In fact they went right back to making out. Serena knew she was in the wrong but she couldn't help that she truly was in love with Marquis.

In fact she was so moved by her feelings for him that she got down on one knee and proposed. She knew that Marquis had commitment issues so she was still a little nervous about his answer.

But Marquis agreed and they were wed right in the living room of the new Keaton residence.

*Note* When Serena went back to the main house I was horrified that she actually got kicked out by them(I guess family counts for nothing lol.). I came up with my own little random occurence scenario while I was bored in class. And this episode was the result of it. The scenario was to betray a friend, and right now the only friend Serena had was Celeste. Serena and Marquis really did hit off better than he and Serena did, it took her less time to figure out his traits. And it took Celeste a few times to get him to commit while Serena did it in one try. So I think they might actually do good together. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
